Some guys bling up their cars. Other guys rack up the horsepower and do the street or strip thing with their rides. Some enthusiasts go the custom paint and body mods way, while other do the lowrider thing. More recently however, slapping the sweetest wheels, cambering the crap out of the suspension, stretching the heck out of the tires to get the most lip on the rims as possible under the fenders, and slamming the car on the ground gives your ride the “Stance” look. Love it or hate it, agree with it or not, the trend only seems to be getting bigger and bigger; and what we’re bringing you on this episode of Braggenrites TV are two pretty sweet examples of what’s happening in the Import car scene.
Meet Andy Navarro and Ryan Parasram. Andy is 18 and is the owner of the white Nissan 370Z you see here, while Ryan is only 17 years old and is the owner of the black Nissan 350Z. Both of them belong to the same car club “Miami Stance”, and both are knee deep into the whole “Stance” scene (though Andy would probably say that his car is more function than form). Both go to school (Andy to College and Ryan is still in High School) and drive their Zs’ every day, and both spent their first mod money on a sick set of wheels. Their cars look sick on the road, and sound amazing as they roll, and their owners are two good dudes enjoying their youth and their cool cars. I have to admit that while getting to know them (and I touched on this during their interviews), I couldn’t help it feel a little jealous to see how these two young dudes could already have such sick looking rides. My first cars (notice, I wrote that in plural) were pretty crappy. These two guys have it made. They get to pimp and swing for the fence right off the gate when it comes to driving dope whips.
Anyway, the episode is pretty cool and the cars are pretty sweet. Check it out and enjoy.
Special thanks to Andy and Ryan for letting us shoot them and their cars. A big shout out to Miami Stance, and much love to the Lowe’s security guard for letting us shoot on just outside their receiving bay.
